If a picture is worth one thousand words, what impact can a virtual reality experience have? Ocean Design Fellow Erika Woolsey presents Manta Ray Eden, an underwater VR journey to Palau. Along the way, viewers take in groups of manta rays, learning about the extraordinary fish and why they need our help.
Erika is among the first National Geographic explorers to present work in the Gilbert H. Grosvenor Auditorium, the largest permanent VR theater in the world. After the event on April 23rd, she will present Manta Ray Eden to the first two school groups to visit the theater.
