Diana Jansons Quihuis

Diana Jansons Quihuis is an administrative staff member for the Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions and the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment. Diana brings to COS and Woods over 30 years of experience working in both the public and private sector, including non-profit organizations and academic institutions. She is skilled in organizational management, scheduling and planning, communications, interdepartmental coordination, and external relations and outreach.

In her time at Stanford, Diana has been the executive assistant to two Stanford Law School deans, worked for the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship Program, and was the administrative director for the Constitutional Law Center at the Stanford Law School. She has worked with Jim Leape since 2014, and now supports him in his role as COS co-director.

Diana received an Honours BA from the University of Toronto in Political Science and Sociology, where she studied comparative management of democratic governments. Throughout her career, she has been active in environmental education, grassroots activism, and political advocacy. In addition to working for Woods and COS, Diana is a certified dog behaviorist. She is also interested in permaculture and sustainable farming, and enjoys taking care of her organic garden with her husband.
