Jeremy (he/him) is a communications assistant at the Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions. He joined the team in April 2022. As a communications assistant, he will develop social media content and support the COS team in sharing their research.

Jeremy is a junior at Stanford majoring in human biology, with a concentration in Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development. He’s interested in putting equitable and sustainable environmental policy at the forefront of our collective decision-making through accessible communication and outreach.

During the summer of 2021, Jeremy studied white shark movements and populations along the Pacific Coast in The Block Lab. He is also the Volume 260 Executive Editor for Print for The Stanford Daily — Stanford’s independent, student-run newspaper — and was a sports editor for Volumes 258 and 259. In his free time, Jeremy loves long walks, good podcasts, and all things Yankees baseball-related.
