New study uses eDNA to monitor biodiversity

A new Ecology and Evolution paper from Early Career Science Fellow Collin Closek and University of South Florida researchers identified over 700 genera (biological classifications) in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The team used eDNA, or environmental DNA, to monitor biodiversity.
